Coaches Dates

Coaches Only Dates (2026-2027 Season)

All coaches are expected to actively participate during their division's evaluations on Saturday, October 17th.

Boys 3rd, Boys 4th, Girls 3rd-4th, and Girls 5th-6th coaches are also expected to fully participate in their division's additional open play sessions the Week of October 13th-16th, as appropriate. Open play dates for Boys 6 and 7 in two smaller group sessions available October 13th and 14th. 

October 21th, 6:00p - 8:00p:  Draft Night at Clearfield Recreation Center, Small Gym.  Head coaches from Boys 4th-8th and Girls 5th-6th will draft their teams.

Saturday, October 24th (Time TBD), Clearfield: Coaches Meeting. Please arrive 10 minutes early. This is a mandatory meeting for head coaches of Boys 3rd-8th and Girls 3rd-8th house divisions.   Part I: Coaches Clinic.  Part II:  League rules, general rules of basketball, code of conduct, and so forth will be reviewed.  Food and bottles of water will be supplied.

Saturday November 7th: Practices begin for Boys 3rd-8th Grade Divisions and for Girls 3rd - 8th Grade Divisions.

Sunday, TBD (Early February 2027): Coaches Meeting.  This is an important meeting for head coaches in all Boys 3rd-8th and Girls 3rd-6th grade house divisions.  Discussion of playoffs, distribution of playoff schedules, discussion of playoff rules, division-wide review of players and player evaluations, discussion of league-wide resources (players/demographics, finances, gym time, scheduling courts and officials, etc.), and so forth.
